Position Description
As an Operations Management Integration Technical Lead working for the Technology Business Unit, you will lead or assist in the definition of integration strategies, integration maps and integration technical requirements for integrated Operations Management Systems (OMS). You will work closely with clients to understand and gather their technical requirements, develop integration architectures and designs, and define integration specifications, as well as project cost estimation. Experience in petrochemical or chemical process industry is a plus.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer related field
• Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience designing and implementing integration of OMS systems with ERP and have experience in developing IT architecture / infrastructure
• Led development of systems strategies, architectures, designs and/or solutions for organizations
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following OMS and SAP functional areas:
o Production Operations
o Maintenance & Reliability
o Quality Operations
o Inventory Operations – Tank Farms, Transportation, Warehouses
o Planning and Scheduling
o EH&S
o Integration & Visualization
• Strong experience in design, development and implementation of integration between enterprise systems, SAP, and OMS and/or control systems and integration between control systems and OMS
• Working understanding of technical and business aspects of one or more of the following industries: continuous, semi-continuous and batch processing of refining, petrochemical and chemical processes producing liquid and solid products.
• Working knowledge of project methodologies, work processes, coordination requirements, estimating needs for OMS projects
• Assisted with development of systems strategies, designs and/or solutions for organizations
• Experience working with business stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Good understanding of software products and solutions in the OMS area
• High level (working) understanding of two or more of the following software product’s functionality:
o Data historians: IP21, OSI PI, PhD
o Maintenance & Reliability Applications: Meridium, IVARA, CMMS, RBI, API
o Laboratory Systems: LIMS Labware, Sample Manager
o Inventory Applications: Tank Farm Storage & Movement, Warehouse Inventory Systems
o Planning and Scheduling Applications: PIMS, Petro, RPMS, Orion, SIMTO; Picasso
o SAP PP, QM, SD, MM, PM modules
• Strong requirements documentation skills
• Should have demonstrable experience capturing requirements in structured requirements formats
• Have written functional specifications, bid packages and/or proposals for integrated Operations Management Systems
• Strong written and excellent verbal communications skills, with proven ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical individuals
• Assisted with estimating costs OMS solutions
